Prince Harry showed his true colours on big 'box office' trip around the world without Meghan Markle
From New York to London and then Johannesburg, Prince Harry has had a busy couple of weeks and has been flying the world solo while his wife, Meghan Markle, remains at home with their two children; Archie and Lilibet. And with Harry attending the WellChild Awards during his UK visit before working for his charity organisation Sentebale in South Africa, many have pointed out how it seems as though the Duke Of Sussex is getting back into his old Royal ways with the appearances.
While some have speculated how Harry looks more confident solo than in recent US appearances alongside Meghan. According to former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond, it's a question of familiarity for the royal, as she exclusively tells OK!: "I think anyone would feel more comfortable in a situation that they’ve been accustomed to – and Harry has been championing the WellChild awards for some 16 years. So, of course, he looked more relaxed in that environment than in the still, somewhat, alien surroundings of La La Land."

Continuing that, in her opinion, it's not a question of whether Harry is playing celebrity or royal, Jennie said: "I don’t think it’s got anything to do with being royal or not royal. It’s simply a question of an environment you are more used to. Maybe we should stop analysing every gesture and every tie stroke and just appreciate that he is a man trying to use his position to do some good in the world."
Despite some reports that Harry and Meghan are living 'separate lives' due to their solo endeavours, Jennie recently explained that Harry's globetrotting is what's best for his two children. She explained that combining his UK and South African trips means the royal can get it all done it once, rather than confusing Archie and Lilibet with several short trips.
"Maybe it’s better for his kids as well, for him to disappear for a fortnight and then be at home - rather than lots of comings and goings," said Jennie.
She added: "Harry is box office. He’s always had a way with people and crowds and it’s lovely to see him coming into his own with charities and causes that he became involved with many years ago. Married couples don’t have to do everything together. The children are young and it’s much better for them to have one parent at home, so it all makes perfect sense. It’s just Harry doing what Harry does best."
