Prince Harry wore the most 'dad' jumper to announce his son's birth
Just in time for the birth of his son, the Duke of Sussex has morphed into full on dad.
On Monday, the beaming prince, 34, spoke to media outside of Windsor Castle following the birth of his son, and while he looks insanely happy, he also looks....very dad-like.
The Duchess of Sussex gave birth to a son, weighing 7lbs 3oz, at 05:26am on May 6, 2019.
The announcement of the birth came just an hour after Buckingham Palace confirmed the 37-year-old duchess had gone into labour in the early hours of the morning.
Prince Harry managed to look casual yet put-together despite probably a less-than-ideal night’s sleep in a comfortable half-zip jumper.
He wore an unbuttoned white shirt underneath, which added a touch of smart casual to the look, along with dark denim jeans.
During the interview, the duke confirmed mother and son are both doing well, adding “the baby is a little bit overdue.”
He added: “It’s been the most amazing experience I could have possibly imagined,” before adding “how any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension.”
“Every father and parent will say your baby is absolutely amazing but this little thing is absolutely to die for. I’m over the moon.”
He also rocked a grown out auburn beard, a look he has been sporting since 2015 – a year before he met Meghan Markle.
Harry is such a fan of the dad-like beard that he kept it for his wedding to the Duchess of Sussex in May last year, making him the only royal to ever marry with such a look in 125 years.
He is fully rocking the dad look and we couldn’t be happier for the family.
