Molly-Mae Hague shows off 'rusty' Irish dancing skills as she surprises fans with hidden talent

Molly-Mae Hague has surprised fans with her hidden talent after showing off her incredible Irish dancing skills. The Love Island star, who recently jetted off to Dubai for a sun-soaked trip, has revealed that she has quite the knack for Irish dancing after heading to her former dance school’s reunion.

In a clip uploaded to her Instagram Story, Molly-Mae, 25, could be seen brushing off her Irish dancing skills alongside a pal as her fellow classmates clapped along. Having previously danced for a decade, the TV personality admitted that her skills had become somewhat “rusty” over the years as she shared the video.

“Last night I went to my Irish dance school reunion I danced for 10 years… not that this video would show because wow it’s giving RUSTY and a huge ICK,” she added. She also tagged a friend of hers from the class and added: “The way we laughed”.

Meanwhile, Molly-Mae also shared some action shots of herself dancing. “New ick unlocked… med trying to Irish dance after 10 years out of the game,” she captioned one snap. “I… simply… cannot,” she commented alongside another.

It comes after Molly-Mae’s ex-fiancé Tommy Fury opened up about their split while promoting his book Lightning Strikes Twice: My Life as a Fury on This Morning alongside Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard. When asked how he was, Tommy replied: “I'm feeling OK, I'm feeling good. It doesn't take a genius to figure out it has been hard for me and hard times.”

Asked how he’d been dealing with social media since the split, the former TV personality added: “Of course there has been a lot of critics, everyone will jump on the bandwagon when there's a bandwagon to jump on. I'm going to let us deal with that in private, for respect out of Molly.”

Having met on the 2019 series of Love Island, Tommy and Molly-Mae’s relationship was just as successful on the outside world. After leaving the show, the pair moved in together and they welcomed their first child, Bambi, in January 2023.

Tommy then popped the question to Molly during a getaway to Ibiza in July that same year. However, just over a year later, the pair shocked fans when they announced their split in separate Instagram statements in August.

“Never in a million years did I think l'd ever have to write this. After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end,” wrote Molly-Mae.

“I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority. “I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years. You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it's right to share this with you all.

“Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time, I'll be back when it feels right. Molly-Mae X.”
