Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury seemed like love's young dream ever since they locked eyes on Love Island back in 2019 - but just two months ago, everything came crashing down. Amidst cheating rumours, which Tommy has strongly denied, the pair parted ways and promised to put on a united front, but with the 25-year-old boxer's scathing tell-all book that promises to divulge some of the couple's biggest secrets from their five-year long relationship, reality could look very different.

Already planned for release before their split, Tommy - who was grilled by Ben Shephard when he appeared on This Morning on Thursday 10 October - told fans he made some interesting changes to the book to keep it as current as possible. Addressing the extra chapter, he wrote on Instagram: "Hey guys, hope you're all doing okay. As you all know, the past month for me hasn't been easy but I've been having a lot of questions regarding my book Lightning Can Strike Twice. I've also tried to keep it as current as I can for you guys. I've written an extra chapter, obviously discussing what's been going on this past month. So yeah, just wanted to say that the book is still going ahead."

With revelations such as the blazing row the former couple had just 10 minutes before he proposed, Molly-Mae's pregnancy and the birth of Bambi, their one-year-old daughter, it's no doubt, according to a source close to the 25-year-old, Tommy's book has left Molly-Mae feeling heartbroken.

The source exclusively told OK!: "Molly-Mae has been left really upset by Tommy’s book even though she knew it was coming out as he’d been working on it for a while. She feels he has gone too far with revelations about their relationship as, although they had met on a TV show, she has always wanted to keep a lot of stuff back.

"It’s very embarrassing for her, Molly feels that some things should be kept private. Obviously they are being as amicable as they can for Bambi’s sake but Molly just wants to move on and focus on all the positives in her life rather than all the hurt she’s been through recently."

The couple, who placed second on Love Island series five, shocked the nation when their split was announced on Instagram, no less. Confirming their love story was over, after weeks of apparent denials over alleged troubles in their relationship, Molly-Mae wrote to her 7.9million followers: "Never in a million years did I think I'd ever have to write this. After five years together I never thought our story would end, especially not this way. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end."

In his own statement, Tommy said he was "heartbroken" and asked fans for privacy while also thanking his ex for "making me a dad", adding: "Bambi is our priority." Since their split, Tommy announced he is determined to win back Molly-Mae as he will "love her until [his] final breath."

He added: "I know what I have to do in order to resolve things. And that's down to me. Nobody else can do that other than me."However, despite praising Molly-Mae in his book - hailing her as a "superhuman" while she was going through childbirth - it's clear to see that the YouTube star and influencer is moving forward and focusing on many lucrative deals.

The source continued: "She has already written her own book but she has been inundated with offers to tell her side of the story in a new tell-all. Publishers know it will be a best-seller as everyone wants her take on the split. But Molly just wants to concentrate on her new fashion line and be taken seriously as a businesswoman and feels Tommy’s revelations are tarnishing this."

The star's book, Becoming Molly-Mae, was released in 2022 and since then she's leaped into the world of fashion with clothing Maebe. After creating buzz with a pop-up store, style enthusiasts couldn't wait for the online launch and, despite personal challenges, Molly-Mae maintained a professional front. In fact, Molly-Mae even said she was entering a "new era" following her split from her fiancé and how much she's changed since welcoming daughter Bambi in January 2023.

She admitted: "I have a really good feeling about this new era of my life and think it's going to be so special and a great thing for me to focus on and put my time into as well as being a mum to Bambi." While our source revealed she's putting Tommy to the back of her mind for now as she looks towards the future. They said: "This is her new era and is keen to be seen as a hard-working single mum and doesn’t want to be dragged down to his level. That’s not to say that she won’t do a book or a big tell-all in the future but she wants the timing to be right and she will do it with class.

"In her mind, the old Love Island Molly-Mae doesn’t exist anymore and everyone needs to move on. And if Tommy wants to win her back, then he’s not going the right way about it as there’s nothing she hates more than having all her secrets put out there." Sounds like many doors could be opening for Molly-Mae...
