The Duchess of Sussex let slip more information about when we can expect the arrival of her first child with Prince Harry.

During a walkabout in Hamilton Square in Birkenhead, Merseyside on Monday morning, Meghan told well-wishers that she is around six months pregnant and is due to give birth at the end of April or beginning of May.

However she said that they didn’t know whether their little one would be a boy or a girl as they want a surprise.

The Duchess showed off her growing baby bump in a red Sentaler coat and a purple midi dress by Aritzia’s Babaton collection, with red Stuart Weitzman heels for a day of engagements in the North West city.

She and Harry are visiting a number of organisations, including Tomorrow’s Women Wirral, a charity that supports women in vulnerable circumstances and Hive Wirral Youth Zone, which is a purpose-built facility for the city’s young people.

Meghan announced her first patronages as a member of the Royal Family last week and visited one of the organisations Smart Works, which helps unemployed women get back into work.

On Wednesday she will take a trip to another, Mayhew, an animal welfare charity and in the evening, she will attend the premiere of Cirque du Soleil’s Totem with Harry, in support of his Sentebale charity.
