Meet The Cast Of 'Tell Me Lies': From Grace Van Patten To Tom Ellis
Between Industry, Nobody Wants This and Love Is Blind, it's more than fair to say that TV right now is in a great place. But, if you've exhausted all of these shows and are on the lookout for something new to watch, look no further than Hulu's Tell Me Lies.
The drama series follows the relationship of a college freshman named Lucy Albright and college junior Stephen DeMarco over the course of eight years. Now that we're on season two, the pair's relationship has deepened in its complexity and college life has gotten more serious. This season, you can expect to see how the couple and their friends navigate the consequences of their previous decisions and how they play out.

Grace Van Patten (Lucy Albright) In 'Tell Me Lies'
Grace Van Patten plays Lucy Albright, a college sophomore who has returned to Baird College for a year that she hopes will be without all of the usual drama.
A rising star, Van Patten is most notable for her work in film and television. She first gained prominence for her roles in the films Tramps (2016) and The Meyerowitz Stories (2017). She has also starred in Hulu's Nine Perfect Strangers (2021).
Van Patten has also made appearances on stage, including The Whirligig (2017) and Mother Of The Maid (2018).
Jackson White (Stephen DeMarco) In 'Tell Me Lies'
Jackson White plays Stephen DeMarco, one of the lead roles in Tell Me Lies. As a narcissist, his behaviour often gets him into fallouts with Lucy.
White's first TV and film role came in 2016. Since then, he's starred in a number of roles including Confession (2016), SPF-18 (2017), Number 2 (2019), The Space Between (2021), Ambulance (2022), Pet Sematary: Bloodlines (2023) and Swiped (2025).
As for TV, he played the main role as Brendan Fletcher in Mrs Fletcher, and had re-occuring roles in The Middle (2017) and SEAL Team (2018).
Catherine Missal (Bree) In 'Tell Me Lies'
The second season of Tell Me Lies sees Catherine Missal's character Bree become romantically involved with her professor, Oliver.
Missal has previously starred in the following TV series: The Blacklist (2018), Doubt, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2011-2012). As for film, Missal has acted in Natural Selection (2016), Vacation (2015), Movement And Location (2014) and Vijay and I (2013).
Natalee Linez (Lydia Montgomery) In 'Tell Me Lies'
Lydia Montgomery is Lucy's childhood best friend in the series. Played by Natalee Linez, the 23-year-old actor has previously featured in a number of TV series including Hawaii Five-O (2019), Siren (2019), Power Book III: Raising Kanan (2021-2022) and The Good Doctor (2021-2022).
Tom Ellis (Oliver) In 'Tell Me Lies'
A new character introduction to the show, Tom Ellis plays Oliver, a married professor who becomes romantically involved with Bree.
Ellis was first known for playing Gary Preston in Miranda, however, he is now most known for his titular character in the series Lucifer (2016-2021). Prior to Lucifer, he appeared in a number films including Vera Drake (2004), Miss Conception (2008) and Players (2024).
TV wise he has appeared in Eastenders (2006), Doctor Who (2007), Rush (2014) The Flash (2019) and Agatha Christie's Poirot.
Thomas Doherty (Leo) 'Tell Me Lies'
Another new addition to the second season of Tell Me Lies is Lucy's new love interest, Leo. The 29-year-old actor first gained prominence for his role as Sean Matthews in The Lodge in 2016-2017.
Since then, he's starred in an array of TV series including Descendants 2 (2017), Legacies (2019-2020), High Fidelity (2020), Gossip Girl (2021-2023) and Girls5eva (2024). On the opposite side, Doherty is also gaining traction for the number of films that he has starred in, in such a short space of time. His credits include Lord Of The Dance (2016), High Strung: Free Dance (2018), The Invitation (2022) and Dandelion (2024).
Katherine Hughes (Molly) 'Tell Me Lies'
Caught in a love triangle with Bree and Evan, Molly is a louder and more opinionated character, who is played by Katherine Hughes.
Hughes is no stranger to the screen and has starred in an array of films including Surviving Family, Men, Women & Children, Me And Earl And The Dying Girl (2015), Dirty 30 (2016), Monsoon (2018) and Ambition (2019).
Hughes played the main role in the TV series' My Dead Ex (2018) and Californian Commando (2020).
Spencer House (Wrigley) In 'Tell Me Lies'
Played by Spencer House, the actor stars as a toxic football player called Wrigley, who refuses to be held accountable for his actions.
Outside of the show, House has also featured in Space Force (2020), Teenage Bounty Hunters (2020) and Small Engine Repair (2021).
Sonia Mena (Pippa) In 'Tell Me Lies'
Often caught in the centre of the friendship's drama, Pippa is played by Sonia Mena in Tell Me Lies.
The actor has also starred in Never Rarely Sometimes Always and Hijos De La Guerra Fria.
Branden Cook
Branden Cook stars in Tell Me Lies as Evan.
