Kicking off the festive season in style, Marks & Spencer has just dropped its hotly-anticipated fashion and home advert for Christmas, and it's filled with an all-star cast.
Featuring the likes of Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Hannah Waddingham, Tan France and Zawe Ashton, it focuses on celebrating the "honest truths" of Christmas (although the messaging seems to have a struck a nerve with some people). And in doing so, spotlights some standout partywear pieces from the high street store's new collection.
From midi dresses dripping in sequins to velvet blazers and glittery bags, M&S is no-doubt proving to be this year's one-stop shop for all things glitz and glam.
In the ad, singer and podcast host, Sophie Ellis-Bextor can be seen wearing M&S's Jacquard Round Neck Mini Shift Dress (£49.50) — a gorgeous black dress designed with short balloon sleeves and flattering mini-length skirt complete with a striking but comfortable silhouette. The perfect statement piece for Christmas Day.
Meanwhile, Hannah Waddingham sports a black midi (£59) covered in shimmering sequins from head-to-toe and teams it with a pair of strappy stiletto heel sandals (£39.50) that are embellished with little diamantés.
