Malala Yousafzai has been being praised by fans for championing "modest fashion" after wearing an incredible glittering hooded gown to the 2023 Oscars.
The Nobel Peace Prize-winning activist, 25, attended the star-studded Academy Awards for the first time with her husband, Asser Malik, and opted for a floor-skimming, silver sequinned gown by Ralph Lauren which featured gathered waist detailing and an attached hood.
Her choice of sparkling attire certainly seemed to go down well with fans on social media, with many applauding Yousafzai for the chic yet modest look.
"Malala looking like a silver goddess," one user wrote.
"Malala looks stunning in her silver ensemble! Absolutely gorgeous!" another added.
"The best Oscar dress in history goes to @Malala for her silver sensation," yet another fan commented.
Others were appreciative of the Pakistani activist shining a light on modest style.
"No matter how big Malala gets or which high profile event she goes to she will always be a modest queen and I love her so much for that," one fan wrote.
"From being shot at by Taliban warlords to turning heads in a classy, elegant, modest ensemble? This is a woman who uses her platform and her voice to do good. She is fearless," another agreed.
"Modest Hollywood glamour," another fan wrote simply.
To attend the Vanity Fair Oscars party, Yousafzai changed into a second hooded gown, in a further celebration of modest fashion.
The pale yellow satin, three-quarter sleeved dress skimmed the floor and featured a loose attached hijab.

As well as her shimmering outfit, Yousafzai won further praise for her classy response to an awkward exchange with Oscars host Jimmy Kimmel, who asked her opinion on a viral moment at last year's Venice film festival where a video clip "appeared to show" Harry Styles spit on Chris Pine.
Representatives for Pine and a source close to Styles denied the alleged incident and claimed the moment “simply did not exist”, but Kimmel probed Yousafzai for her thoughts on the viral moment.
Reading out what he explained was a question from a viewer, Kimmel asked the female education activist: “As the youngest Nobel Prize winner in history, I was wondering, do you think Harry Styles spit on Chris Pine?”
Yousafzai reflected for a moment before answering: “I only talk about peace.”
Kimmel replied: "You know what, that's why you're Malala and nobody else is."

"I only talk about peace": a most elegant response from @malala in response to a silly spitgate question from Jimmy Kimmel. She's a Nobel Peace Prize winner, don't waste her time," another Twitter user added.
"Malala put up with none of Jimmy Kimmel's s***.... absolutely classiest response possible!" yet another user tweeted.
Yousafzai was the executive producer of Stranger at the Gate, which was nominated for Best Documentary Short Film at last night's event.
