MAFS Hannah addresses ‘shoegate’ and thanks fans for ‘support’ after latest episode
MAFS star Hannah Norburn has set the record straight on '#shoegate' after being involved in the E4 show's latest cheating scandal. In Tuesday night's episode, Hannah and her groom Stephen hit another hurdle in their relationship after Stephen Nolson accused Hannah of flirting with other men in the Married at First Sight UK experiment.
After being told by Holly Ditchfield and Polly Sellman that Hannah had given another groom, Ryan Livesey, a "foot massage" and told him that he had "beautiful eyes", Stephen began to question his connection with his bride. After the episode aired on E4, Hannah took to Instagram to address the scandal, writing: "There is only one story here and it's the truth."
She continued: "The truth is this - the entire cast were in a room together the morning after the commitment ceremony. All of us. Nobody's apartment. I never stepped foot (no pun intended) in Ryan & Sionainns apartment the entire time I was on the experiment.
"Ryan had some very smart looking Ugg shoes on that day and I couldn’t understand if they were shoes or slippers. So in the room full of the entire cast, I politely asked Ryan, with some confusion, if they had fluff in or not."
She added: "Ryan responded by pulling his foot out of said shoe and saying ‘here have a look’ I then proceeded to touch said shoe and noticed that in fact there was fluff in his shoe confirming they were in fact slippers. Me and Ryan politely smiled at each other as he popped his foot back into his slipper and we all went about our day. The end."
In Hannah's Instagram story, she posted a picture of the slipper in question and later posted a video of herself pulling a face alongside the caption: "Are we really getting insecure about slippers and touching hands." Her comment was in relation to Stephen accusing her of holding hands with Orson in a bid to make him jealous.

Earlier today, Hannah took to Instagram again to thank her fans for their support - particularly after opening up about her Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) diagnosis on the show. "The DMs are quite sunny so thank you so much. Keep them coming. Really sweet messages, not only of support but a lot of ADHD-ers shout out to you all. We're all trying to get through this bonkers little world.
"A lot of people understanding my personality and relating to it and honestly, if I help one person a day feel a little bit more understood, then I'm absolutely here for it."
