I’m Obsessed with This Gorgeous Tray That Instantly Decluttered My Messy Nightstand
No matter how hard I try, my nightstand is always one of the most cluttered spots in my entire apartment. On any given night, I’ve got my phone, iPad, hand cream, headphones, lip balm, a book, and glasses taking up space — and that’s the bare minimum, in addition to charging cords.
I’d long been curious about the Courant MAG:3 Essentials charging tray, and finally got the chance to try one out. Spoiler alert: I’m obsessed. It’s no wonder it’s a winner in Apartment Therapy’s 2024 Organization Awards — and here’s why.

It’s beautifully designed.
First of all, this charging tray is exquisitely designed. The rectangular tray just looks stylish, which means it earned an instant treasured spot on my (sadly) cluttered nightstand. It has room to charge devices and store items, making exactly what I was looking for. I’ve been using it to hold my iPhone, glasses, lip balm, and lotion, which helps clear up a lot of the clutter my nightstand was experiencing beforehand.
You can choose from Belgian linen or Italian leather, each of which come in a variety of gorgeous neutrals (camel, black, and charcoal in linen, and saddle or black in leather). I own it in black leather and love how simple yet classic it looks on my nightstand, not to mention how well it goes with the rest of my bedroom decor.
It charges multiple devices simultaneously.
The charging tray has dual-device charging capabilities, plus an extra USB-C port to charge an extra device — that’s three total, in case you needed some help counting! It charges a phone pretty fast, too. I placed my iPhone 13 on it when it was at 51% and got back up to 100% within an hour. It also comes with a color-matched charging cable and power adapter.
I also love that you don’t have to remove your phone case while charging. I’ve tried other wireless chargers that didn’t work with my case on, which is a pretty big hassle, so it’s nice that I can just set it and forget it.
The brand is a consistent winner.
It’s not the first time Courant has secured a spot in the Organization Awards, either. The brand’s Catch 3: Classics charging tray was a winner in last year’s 2023 awards.

I never knew quite how much I’d fall in love with a charging tray … but this one by Courant is so spectacular, it was bound to happen. At $150 for the linen version and $200 for the leather, it’s a bit of a luxury, but trust me — it’s absolutely worth it.
