Kylie Jenner praised for 'normalising' post-pregnancy bodies in new image with son
Kylie Jenner has been praised by fans for 'normalising' post-pregnancy bodies after sharing a picture of her newborn sitting on her stomach.
The beauty mogul has been getting candid about second-time motherhood recently. Just last week she opened up about the fact that she was struggling both "mentally and physically" since welcoming her son in February.
And earlier this week she shared some previously unseen footage of the moments leading up to her son's birth in a birth in a 10-minute video documentary dedicated to her newborn.
On Instagram, she posted a clip of the video alongside a selection of new images, including one of her newborn’s feet pressed against her bare belly (scroll through the link above to view the intimate image).
The natural picture seemed to strike a chord with the star's followers, with the raw image of her post-baby body offering a glimpse into the realities of new motherhood in a refreshingly different departure from Jenner's usual glossy posts.
"How real and raw photo number 8 is," one user wrote. "Beautiful."
"Showing how your real tummy looks PP [postpartum] rather than the usual unrealistic beauty standards," another agreed, while a further fan simply described the image as "refreshingly raw".

As well as commenting on the post itself, social media users also shared their praise for the image on a thread on Reddit.
“I love that she posted this,” one commented, saying it helps with, “normalising normal bodies”.
“For women who have such big platforms, this is the type of content we need from them!” another added. “I love this so much!”
Last week the reality TV star outlined the mental struggles she's been having since giving birth to her second child.
In a heartfelt message to fellow new mums, Jenner opened up about the fact she has found the first few weeks after the birth of her second child hard, revealing that it has "not been easy mentally, physically, or spiritually" and reassuring others it's "okay not to be okay".

Jenner and her partner singer Travis Scott, welcomed their son on 2 February. They already share their first child, Stormi Webster, four, whose birthday is on 1 February.
While the couple originally revealed they had named their son Wolf Webster, earlier this week Jenner revealed they have now decided to change it.
Opening up about the change of heart on Instagram Stories she said: "FYI our [son's] name isn't Wolf anymore," the reality TV star wrote. "We just didn't feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere."
While their newborn may no longer be called Wolf, the couple have yet to reveal their child's new moniker.

The singer, who gave birth to their first child, a son named Ender, with boyfriend Alev Aydin in July, addressed the attention regarding their appearance with an Instagram post. (Halsey also recently announced she uses the pronouns they and she.)
In the post, Halsey shared personal photos in the months after giving birth, with the first photo showing their extended stomach, while the other postpartum photos included candid pictures of their stretch marks.
In the caption, the singer, said that they were posting the photos because “no matter what I do people are going to talk about my body”.
“A lot of people don’t know that you still look pregnant for a while after. It is still changing and I am letting it,” they continued.
“I have no interest in working out right now,” Halsey added. “I’m too tired and too busy playing with my darling son.”
