King Charles Visits 'Holistic' Spa in India for 'Rejuvenation Treatment' amid Cancer Journey
Charles and Queen Camilla reportedly headed to a favorite spot in Bangalore, India on their return from Australia and Samoa
King Charles and Queen Camilla have been getting some downtime in India.
Charles, 75, who is being treated for cancer, rounded off his recent nine-day tour of Australia and Samoa by heading to a favorite spot in the city of Bangalore with Camilla, 77, the New India Express reported on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
The royal couple stayed at the Soukya International Holistic Health Centre (SIHHC) and are reported to have started their day with a morning yoga session, the New India Express added. They then had breakfast and a "rejuvenation treatment before lunch," the outlet continued.
Later, the resort offered a "second round of therapies," before the day ended with a meditation session before dinner and lights out by 9 p.m., the New India Express reported. Charles and Camilla are also said to have enjoyed long walks around the resort to view an organic farm and cattle shed.
"Their Majesties had a short private stopover in India to help break the long journey back from Samoa. They return to the U.K. this morning," a Buckingham Palace spokesperson said on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Charles and Camilla broke up their 10,000-mile journey home by visiting a place that was familiar to them and where they have visited several times, PEOPLE understands. The visit was not connected to the King's health but did provide a welcome period of rest as he continues his recovery.
His cancer treatment will start up again after he arrives back in the U.K., PEOPLE understands.
Camilla organized for Charles to visit Soukya with her to mark his 71st birthday in 2019. The resort has also been visited by their actress friend Emma Thompson.
It is Charles' first trip to India — which is part of the Commonwealth of nations linked to the U.K. — since he was crowned King in May 2023. It is believed that Camilla stayed in the country on her journey out to Australia as she left London at a different time to her husband, who departed on Oct. 17, the official record, the Court Circular showed at the time.
