WORRYING ABOUT MUM

I've had a very challenging week visiting my mum in hospital every day. She's suffering from blood clots and other health issues and I've cancelled all of my work to focus on looking after her. It’s been an emotional week. I’d usually do something with the kids for Bonfire Night, but it really depends on how my mum is doing. I don’t want to make any plans as my routine is all so dependent on her. Please send all your prayers to us.

THE END OF FRIENDSHIP

Perrie Edwards has talked about friendship breakups and how she lost touch with her bandmate Jesy Nelson. She said they can be harder than romantic break-ups and I agree, it can be horrible losing a friend. I lost a lot of friends when I started becoing famous, which is hard. I remember being particularly hurt by losing one close friend who I had known since I was a baby. When I started to get famous she stuck by me but then we drifted apart, because her boyfriend was worried I’d lead her to other guys - which I wouldn’t have, I just fall in love with one and marry them! Losing friends can be so difficult - it does really hurt.

TOFF THE MARKET

I saw on Instagram that Georgia Toffolo is engaged to her partner James Watt and I want to say a massive congratulations to them both. I don’t really know Georgia, but I did watch her when she won I’m A Celeb in 2017 and I think she came across so well. She seems really genuine, lovely, intelligent and reasonable. I wish her all the happiness – and hopefully only one wedding!

NEW REALITY COUPLE?

Pete Wicks and Maura Higgins seem to have confirmed they’re in a relationship and I’m really happy for them if it’s true. They do make a gorgeous couple – they’d have some beautiful babies. I worked with Pete on Celebs Go Dating in 2019 and he was such a gent. He’s a lovely guy. I’ve met Maura before too and she was really nice – I hope she finally settles him down!

MIND THE GAP!

I’ve seen that Cruz Beckham has a girlfriend who is a decade older than him and I do think it’s a little strange. Jackie Apostel is 29 and he is 19. I know there’s a big gap between Ryan and me (eight years) but, as you get older, I don’t think it matters as much as when you’re 19. I don’t think I’d be happy if Max had a girlfriend that much older if I’m honest. I find it weird when older women want to be with teenage boys. But if they’re happy, maybe it just means I’m old-fashioned.
