Kate Upton lands another Sports Illustrated cover in three racy versions
This isn’t the first time that Kate Upton has graced the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, but it’s certainly one of her racier shoots.
On Tuesday, the model and actress was revealed as the cover girl for the 2017 edition of the magazine on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
As always, the covers feature Upton wearing next-to-nothing, adorned with heavy chain jewellery, a metallic jacket and white string bikini (or an aesthetically pleasant piece of rope, depending on how you look at it).

Upton posted the three different covers onto her own Instagram just hours ago, writing beneath the photo:
“Wow, I feel so honored and excited to be back with Sports Illustrated!!
“Thank you @si_swimsuit [Sports Illustrated Swimsuit] and @mj_day [magazine editor MJ Day] for inviting me to be part of an issue that features and celebrates beauty and confidence in every shape and size #siswim17 #grateful.”

You could easily call Upton the queen of Sports Illustrated – her appearance in the 2011 edition as Rookie of the Year seriously bolstered her career, and she’s been known for this and her subsequent shoots since.
She landed the cover in 2012, and once again in 2013, making her something of a household name.
Upton told the magazine how happy she was to be asked back:

“I was very excited when MJ asked me to be back in the issue,” she said.
“Especially when this year’s theme is about every woman of every age and every body type being accepted. It was inspiring to be asked to be a part of that issue.”
