J-Lo defies her 47 years in glittering form-fitting ensemble

It’s never the wrong time of year for sequins, as Jennifer Lopez proved at the Shades Of Blue premiere party in New York on Wednesday.

Wearing a sequined silver peplum vest with a plunging neckline along with matching trousers, the actress was looking as incredible as ever as she joined the evening’s events.

From Zuhair Murad’s Spring Summer ’17 ready-to-wear collection, she teamed the look with some open-toe pair of Jimmy Choo heels and a black box clutch.

Oh, and who could miss that smokey eye?

Murad is one of Lopez’s long-standing favourite designers, and though the pieces vary in style and shape, have become a well-known staple of hers.

Her love of sequins is no secret – take the turquoise and blue pyjamas (Murad’s description, not ours) she wore to her last birthday in July.

Often sheer and heavily embellished, Lopez’s favourite Murad pieces are often figure-hugging dresses that are not only feminine but give off a ‘more is more’ aesthetic too.

The singer proves that there’s no such thing as being a ‘jump suit person’ or a ‘dress person’, to as she rocks both with equal flair.
