Inside Miranda Hart's home - Star shares glimpses of £2m London house which was reason she met new husband
Miranda Hart is known for keeping her social media followers in the loop with her latest happenings. However, on Tuesday, the comedian left fans stunned when she revealed that she tied the knot with her building surveyor beau this year aged 51, after he popped the question in Kew Gardens. The pair first crossed paths when he was called to address a mould issue in her £2million West London pad during the lockdown in 2020.
In a series of videos, Miranda can be seen busting some moves while tuning into Strictly on her telly, positioned above a brick fireplace, as she cheers on her pal Sarah Hadland on the BBC programme. In another snippet, the star is spotted donning an oversized tee while grooving away in her vibrant red bedroom. Not only does she share the residence with her hubby, but Patti the poodle also calls it home and frequently makes appearances on Miranda's Instagram.
She also devotes a considerable amount of time to her garden, caring for the flora and shrubbery during the warmer months. Miranda has previously confessed that her home is her place to 'let her hair down', elaborating: 'I have friends over, drink champagne for no good reason, have luxury snacks and either watch some good telly or put on some cheesy music and, what I call, bop. '.

The star has revealed details of her new husband in her new memoir, titled I Haven't Been Entirely Honest With You. Though she is keeping the exact identity of her mystery husband under wraps, Miranda has revealed that he works as a building surveyor, and, he was actually the surveyor who worked on her house when she lost her property to mould in recent years.
She has also teased readers with clues to his identity in her new book, including his "salt and pepper grey hair" and "fine features,” and sharing that he’s her “best friend”. The Mail reports that she writes: "I met my best friend and the love of my life who brings me more silliness, laughter, joy, support, care and safety than I thought possible in a person, because I lost my house due to mould illness and he was the building surveyor on the house remediation project.”
Miranda has also revealed her unusual pet names for her mysterious hubby. In the new book, she writes: "Yes my love was Mr Mould Man/ My Mr Mould Man/ The Boy/ The Boy from Bristol/ The Boyfriend. I haven't been entirely honest with you, he's not my boyfriend, he's my husband. We got married when I was 51."
