H&M's sell-out bow cardigan is back with a twist
You'll no doubt have noticed that bows have been the fashion world's darling lately, and the trend shows no sign of slowing down, especially heading into the festive season. We love wearing bows not only in our hair and on our shoes, but as adornments on our clothes, so when we saw that H&M's sell-out bow cardigan was finally back in stock, we rushed to snap it up before it disappeared again.
If you also missed out on the pretty cream cardigan with black decorative bows earlier this year, you'll be equally delighted by this news. But be quick – the Bow-Front Rib-Knit Cardigan is currently still available online in all sizes from XXS to XXL, but at the very reasonable price of just £32.99 (or £28.05 if you're a member), it's not going to hang around for long.
If you're after styling inspiration for this hero piece, we'll be wearing ours with black vinyl trousers (the trouser style of the moment) and Mary Janes for the perfect desk to drinks outfit. It's also sure to become a staple in our partywear wardrobes, whenever we fancy an alternative to velvet and sequins (much as we love both). Or, why not try it over a simple black slip dress, perhaps with lace detailing a la the Fashion Week set.
This new-in H&M cardigan is slightly different from its bestselling predecessor, in that it now features two bows rather than three (which we prefer). It's long sleeved with a chic round neckline and is made from a blend of recycled polyester, acrylic, wool and elastane. It's an affordable piece, but we think it looks so much more expensive than its price tag and will prove a versatile buy that you'll pull out again and again.
