Gwyneth Paltrow's sold-out vagina candle is now available to buy in the UK

Normally when we’re choosing a new scent for our home, we go for candles with names like ‘relaxing’ or ‘serenity’. It’s very rare (read: never) that we head out on our hunt looking for one that smells that like a body part.
But Gwyneth Paltrow has changed all that with her bestselling ‘This Candle Smells Like My Vagina’ Candle.
It started out as a joke between perfumer, Douglas Little and Gwyneth Paltrow but turned into a sought-after candle that quickly sold out.
“The two were working on a fragrance, and she blurted out, “Uhhh..this smells like a vagina” — but evolved into a funny, gorgeous, sexy, and beautifully unexpected scent. (That turned out to be perfect as a candle),” the website description explains.
According to the ingredients, Gwyneth’s vulva candle smells like “geranium, citrusy bergamot, and cedar absolutes juxtaposed with Damask rose and ambrette seed”.
Though it sold out when Goop first released the candle, fans will be pleased to hear that the now-infamous candle is now back in stock.

The goal, the Goop description optimistically reads, is "to put us in mind of fantasy, seduction, and a sophisticated warmth".
Earlier this month, the entrepreneur said that displaying the item proudly on a coffee table was "a punk rock statement", given "the idea that women have been taught to have a certain amount of shame about their body".
And this isn’t the first time that Gwyneth has turned her vagina into a business opportunity. She - through her wellness platform Goop - introduced us to the concept of vaginal steaming, jade vaginal eggs and, of course, the elusive sex dust moon juice.
Sure, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but, you have to admit, you’re intrigued...
