Greggs has added tubs of pigs in blankets to its Christmas menu

As part of its new festive menu, Greggs is now selling tubs of pigs in blankets at selected stores.
Christmas is the perfect time to indulge in some comfort food, and for just £2.25 you can indulge yourself with these meaty morsels.
It truly is a wonderful time of year when you can buy these succulent pork sausages wrapped in smoky streaky bacon as the perfect winter pick-me-up.
At 325 calories, they’re a great on-the-go snack or lunchtime treat, and a firm Christmas favourite.

Whilst the pigs in blankets won’t be available at all stores, there are 600 branches selling them, which is 120 more than last year.
Greggs Christmas Menu 2019 also contains other festive favourites such as the iconic Festive bake, which is made up of pieces of chicken breast, sage and onion stuffing, and sweetcure bacon in a creamy sage and cranberry sauce, encased in golden puff pastry with a crunchy crumb topping. Delicious.
There’s also a Pigs Under Blankets Baguette, and several new hot drinks. Choose from the mint mocha, salted caramel latte and mint hot chocolate, costing between £2.20 and £2.75.
And if you have a sweet tooth you can look forward to Christmas tiffin bites, Christmas shortbread bites, tree biscuit, cake slices, ring buns and novelty biscuits.
Greggs Christmas menu is available from November 14. That’s lunch sorted, then.
