GMB star arrives to studio in same clothes as night before and called out by Richard Madeley live on air
Laura Tobin had a bit of an embarrassing moment on Good Morning Britain this morning after host Richard Madeley called her out for her "walk of shame" moment. The ITV show's stars enjoyed a late night out on Monday, 21 October, as they attended the Pride of Britain Awards.
Both hosts Richard and Susanna Reid were present, along with entertainment correspondent Richard Arnold, who was busy interviewing celebs on the red carpet, giving viewers a sneak peek into the event. However, while chatting about the wonderful evening honouring the UK's unsung heroes, Susanna quickly noted that Laura arrived at the GMB studio in the same outfit she wore the previous night.
Susanna quipped: "I just want to say, some of us had an early late night. Some of us had a very late night, some of us had such a late nigh that it rolled in this morning."

As the camera focused on Laura, GMB also showed a photo of her arriving at work still in her stunning red carpet attire. Dressed in a beautiful strapless red and black gown, weather presenter Laura looked fabulous but was clearly overdressed for her GMB duties.
With the studio erupting in laughter, Susanna added: "So this was Laura coming into work. She takes on the walk of shame. That is definitely the morning after the night before look!"
Clearing the air, Laura, back in her familiar GMB wardrobe, explained: "It looks like I went straight from Pride of Britain straight to GMB. I would like to assure you, I went back to my hotel, slept but I didn't have a change of clothes and I couldn't take my hair out."
Determined to set the record straight, she added firmly, "That's my argument and I'm sticking to it," while Richard teasingly remarked, "You stop out and I won't say the other one." Laura quickly wrapped up their banter, expressing her happiness about being part of the event.
On the carpet, Laura posed alongside colleagues Kate Garraway, Ranvir Singh, Richard and Charlotte Hawkins. Kate chose a gold suit for the occasion, complementing it with a matching purse. Ranvir donned a velvet blue dress and matching handbag, while co-star Susanna wore a black dress with gold detailing. Richard opted for a traditional black suit, and Charlotte dazzled in a blue dress.
Although the actual ceremony was held on Monday night, viewers can catch the glittering moments on ITV1 at 8pm this Thursday, 24 October.
