Love Island stars Will Young and Jessie Wynter have sparked an engagement frenzy after sharing a cryptic post. The TV stars, who met on the iconic ITV2 show back in 2023, have sent fans wild thanks to one mysterious series of snaps which appeared to show Jessie wearing a band on her ring finger - though on the wrong hand.
In a series of photos uploaded to Instagram, Jessie and Will looked loved up as they posed for a picture in front of Battersea Power Station. For the occasion Jessie, 27, dazzled in a strapless white mini dress which she paired with a pair of pointed white heels. Meanwhile, Farmer Will looked equally as sophisticated as she wore a tuxedo.
However, it wasn’t the pair’s outfits that got their followers talking. As Jessie placed her hand on Will’s torso for the snaps, eagle-eyed fans spotted that she was wearing a ring on her ring finger. Meanwhile, with the caption reading “19.11.24,” - a date that is days away - fans were left confused about the nature of the post.

“The date and wrong hand? I’m confused but I hope u guys are engaged!,” wrote one. “I might be being thick here but how did you guys get engaged in the future? Congratulations,” one wrote with a laughing emoji.
Other fans did some more digging into the post after noticing that Jessie was wearing the ring on her right hand rather than her left. They also noticed that they’d tagged a private joint account for the couple, which has “launching soon…” in the bio.
“You both look stunning and we can’t wait to see what’s happening on 19.11.24,” commented one Instagram user. “They tagged a profile that says launching soon, hahahaha clearly they are launching something,” said another.
Despite the confusion, some remained firm that it was a “sign” for them to get engaged either way. “These comments are your even bigger sign to hurry up and propose!!!,” one wrote as they tagged Will’s account.

Back in September 2023, Will opened up to OK! about introducing Jessie to his lifestyle on the farm after hinting that he is “creeping up” to proposing to Jessie.
“I’ve always wanted someone I could bring back to the farm and I don’t think I could’ve found anyone better than Jessie as she was brought up in the Australian countryside and loves being on the farm,” he said. “My mum didn’t set foot on the farm in the first 10 years of her relationship with my dad, so seeing Jessie want to help out was amazing.”
