Love Island stars Will Young and Jessie Wynter 'want to get the ball rolling' as they reveal baby plans
Love Island stars Will Young and Jessie Wynter have discussed their plans for the future, as they put on a loved-up display at the 2024 BAFTAs.
The couple's relationship has gone from strength to strength since they first laid eyes on each other in the Love Island villa in 2023. Jessie, who is originally from Australia, soon moved in with Will and his family at their farm in Buckinghamshire, but the pair are now planning to buy a home together.
Speaking exclusively to OK!, Jessie said: "We're currently searching for a house because we are going to buy together. That's what's been taking our time up - it's actually really hard to find a house."
Will added: "Yeah we've got to get a house and then get ready for the baby," as he put a hand on Jessie's stomach, and said: "Hopefully soon."
Jessie then clarified: "I said we're not having a baby until we have a house, so he said 'let's get on that'."
Speaking about their united future, Jessie said: "Of course we both want children.
"I'm turning 28 this year so we've got to get the ball rolling soon."
At the BAFTAs on Sunday, 12 May, Jessie looked sensational in a figure-hugging red gown, whilst her blonde hair was pulled back into an elegant ponytail. Will stood by her side in a tuxedo, and their love was clear to see.
Jessie recently revealed that she would get engaged to Will in a heartbeat if he got down on one knee and popped the question.
Speaking to The Sun, she said: "We definitely do speak about marriage, and getting engaged and everything a lot. I think if we could, we would be engaged right now. We'd be having a wedding, but at the moment, like we've just got so many other things to navigate at the moment. So that's not the top of my priorities."
One of those things is her parents' upcoming wedding, as Jessie revealed that they recently got engaged. She also shared that she's helping to plan the big day, and joked to Will that he'll be able to see her planning skills in action before their time comes.
Jessie enthused that the couple are keen to try something new and experience something that neither one of them has before. She explained: "So after [Love Island] we spent a bit of time in Australia. Will bless him, he's worked and lived on the farm his whole life. He went to Australia, and I showed him a bit of city life in Sydney, and he actually really liked it. So that's kind of opened our eyes up too."
