EmRata goes braless in red jumper with *HUGE* underboob-baring cut-out
IT'S SNOWINGGGGG! At least, in parts of the UK. And even those locations that haven't been blessed with a blanket of white (AKA where I am writing from in central London *sob*) are certainly feeling the below-freezing temperatures. Yep, if you're planning on leaving the house today, make sure you don your thickest winter coat and fleece-lined tights. Layers are key, ppl.
While we usually love to look to our fave celebs for outfit inspo, unfortunately, we cannot turn to Emily Ratajkowski in this instance. The model/actor/podcast host/author is regularly photographed out and about in New York or walking her dog in off-duty ensembles we can actually recreate. Compared to the red carpet ballgowns we're more used to seeing from the A-list.
Alas, EmRata's latest 'fit is far from practical. At least, for the weather we're currently experiencing.
Taking to her Instagram stories to share a snap of her outfit in question, EmRata could be seen stepping out in what you might think is a seasonally appropriate outfit. Her look consisted of a red knit jumper – ticking off one of autumn winter's biggest colour fashion trends – and a black pleated midi skirt paired with knee-high boots. So far, so standard.
Save for the fact her jumper features the biggest cut-out we've ever seen. In fact, we may as well just call it a giant hole given the frayed edges. And did we mention the hole stretches the entire length of Emily's torso, flashing her underboob and revealing she was braless beneath the knit? Warm and cosy this is not.
The controversial jumper is believed to be from Gimaguas, given Em tagged the Barcelona-based brand in the story. She has previously repped the label (donning their backless top back in August) and it's also loved by Dua Lipa, so there's no doubting its cool-girl approved status.
Now, I don't mean to sound like your Grandma, but perhaps, if you're looking to recreate EmRata's look, maybe layer a plain white tee or lace top underneath? Just to give you a little extra protection against the elements.
