On Monday afternoon the Duchess of Cambridge joined her husband, Prince William, in Scotland for the couple's latest royal tour.
At the weekend, Prince William carried out his first engagement as Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, and the couple will spend the next few days meeting a wide variety of people, charities and organisations across the country.
For the first day of engagements, 39-year-old Kate showed off her diplomatic dressing, opting for a tonal cobalt blue ensemble, which paid homage to the Scottish flag.
The bold ensemble featured an affordable (and already sold out) £59.99 Zara blazer, which the mum-of-three also sported earlier this month on International Day of the Midwife.
And the affordable buys did not stop there.
The duchess debuted a new pleated midi skirt by Hope Fashion, which featured an on-trend contrast asymmetric hem.
The satin pleated skirt retails for £95 and is currently available to pre-order, with its delivery date estimated as June 7th.
The skirt comes in three sizes: slim (for 8-10), curvy (12-14) and super curvy (16-20). Its elasticated waist not only means versatile sizing, but also extra comfort for those of us who have got used to stretchy tracksuit bottoms over the past year.
Made out of polyester sateen, the skirt is also lightweight and has a silk-like softness that's bound to be perfect for those hot summer months (when they finally arrive).

The duchess finished off the look with coordinating camel accessories and a floral face mask by Amaia Kids, which she has sported on several occasions.
