Heavily pregnant Duchess of Cambridge wears skinny jeans for final engagement before maternity leave
The Duchess of Cambridge has served up some serious style during her third pregnancy and this morning, the 36-year-old proved she wasn’t going to head on maternity leave without one final sartorial triumph.
The royal joined Prince William at Olympic Park’s Copper Box arena for an event hosted by charity, SportsAid.
The organisation supports over 1,000 athletes aged between 12-18 who hope to become the next generation of Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth winners.
And to mark her final royal engagement, the Duchess of Cambridge dressed her bump in a floral blouse by Hobbs (psst, it’s in the sale) with a pair of black skinny jeans.
To keep warm, the thrifty royal recycled one of her go-to coats by London label, Goat. The 36-year-old accessorised the look with her favourite Annoushka Baroque Pearl Drop earrings and a tried-and-tested Mulberry clutch.
The royal couple received a cheery welcome from pupils at the Chobham Academy who waved flags upon their arrival.
Inside, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met with wheelchair basketball players who hope to compete in the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. Prince William even tried his hand at the sport while the Duchess of Cambridge cheered from the sidelines.
Later, the couple participated in a Commonwealth quiz amongst athletes and coaches.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are set to welcome their third child in April.
