Dua Lipa's red satin corset dress is giving Jessica Rabbit
Spooky szn is well and truly here and October 31st is right around the corner, so if you have yet to sort out a Halloween costume you better get on it ASAP. Luckily, our fave celebs are always here to help when it comes to outfit inspo. You could literally dress up as your A-lister of choice – a blonde wig and some sparkles are all it takes to rep Sabrina Carpenter – or, have a scroll through celebrity Halloween costumes of years past.
But, for fresh inspo, you need only turn to Dua Lipa. The artist was performing at the Royal Albert Hall in London last night [Thursday 17 October] and arrived on stage in a look that channelled Jessica Rabbit to a tee. Strapless red satin gown? Check. Over-the-elbow opera gloves? Check. A side part and old-school Hollywood glamour waves? Check, check and check.

From the corseted bodice with it's strapless sweetheart neckline and obvious boning to the skirt's leg slit, Dua's dress is a pretty realistic take on Jessica Rabbit's iconic 'fit. The cartoon character is famous for her strapless, figure-hugging red gown that features a sexy thigh-high leg slit, paired with over-the-elbow purple opera gloves.
There were some differences between the looks with Dua adding a chiffon scarf that she wrapped around her torso and neck and then left to fall all the way to the floor. Plus, rather than Jessica's flame-red hair, the British singer debuted her return to her natural dark tresses having previously dyed her own locks a pinot noir red.
This latest stage attire is a departure from the goth glam aesthetic she's been repping recently that's included a leather corset and matching zip-crotch thong hotpants and a safety-pin dress. We never know what to expect next from Dua, but that's why we love her style so much. Stay tuned for what she wears next...
