Davina McCall ‘risks ruining her career’ by wearing mini dresses at 55
Davina McCall has revealed that she “does not care” that her penchant for mini dresses at age 55 could “risk ruining her career”.
The Masked Singer judge is a regular fan of short dresses and often posts images of her outfits to Instagram.
“I'm feeling like I'm getting to that age now where I am at risk of ruining my career on a daily basis,” McCall joked in an interview with Best. “I feel like at the moment it's manifesting with my clothing. I sometimes think ‘What can I wear to really horrify people?’”

She added that one of her favourite examples of this recently was wearing a short dress with no tights, which she said was “quite daring because you could see my little crepe-y knees”.
“I was on the Tube and I was thinking, ‘Yeah, you look at those knees because they are crepe-y and I don't care.’ I also had white ankle socks and loafers on and it was brilliant because I felt like there were a few people that just couldn't handle it. It was as if I was wearing crotchless panties or something. I felt amazing though,” she continued.

“I was like, ‘Yes, I must be doing something right because I'm getting a reaction, even though I'm not doing anything terrible!’ I loved it.”
McCall recently received praise from celebrity pals after she posted a recent Instagram picture which saw the TV personality wearing a short orange dress.
“Tonight’s look for the masked singer was courtesy of @alexperryofficial and shoes by @sophiawebster styling @abigailrosewhite,” McCall captioned the image.
Strictly Come Dancing and The Traitors presenter, Claudia Winkleman commented on the post with three red heart emojis and a fire emoji.

Victoria Beckham has also spoken of wearing mini skirts as she approaches 50.
In June last year, the 48-year-old said that her growing style confidence came down to "challenging" herself with what she wears.
"I never want to play it completely safe," Beckham told The Telegraph at the time, adding that while she "lived in denim" for the past two years, she was "dying to wear minis".
