Strictly Come Dancing's Craig Revel Horwood has praised the show's new duty-of-care measures, saying they've made a positive impact. Speaking on Good Morning Britain, he said: "It seems to be working. " He compared it to his theatre experience, saying: "We have that in the theatre all the time - when I was in Annie we always had chaperones."

He added that the chaperones are there for support and to witness any issues, and believes it's working really well.

The judge also shared his love for the show and his plans to stay, saying: "It's the best Saturday ever, I love it. I get a front row seat to the best show ever. For me, it's irreplaceable."

He also revealed who has impressed him so far this series, naming Chris McCausland and Tasha Ghouri as standouts.

"There's people coming up, namely a footballer darling. It didn't start particularly well but Paul [Merson] has come through and treating it really seriously. It's wonderful because it's what the show is about."
