With lockdown continuing to ease, and self-contained accommodation stays allowed in England from next week, we’re more than ready for a holiday.
While foreign holidays are still shelved, this summer we’re banking on a staycation instead - especially one near the sea.

Last year, English staycations saw a boom in popularity thanks to the pandemic and the same is expected this year, but luckily there are still some stellar spots available.
After revealing the best beaches in the UK earlier this year - which featured Bournemouth Beach as one of the world's best, while Cornwall’s Porthminster Beach and Perranporth Beach as well as Yorkshire’s Filey Beach were named among Europe's best - Tripadvisor has now pinpointed the holiday cottages still available to book in Dorset, Cornwall and Yorkshire this summer.

With room for 20 guests, this three-storey townhouse is an ideal spot for larger group or family gatherings. Plonked near Bournemouth Beach, inside there’s an eclectic collection of artwork, upcycled furniture and a bespoke dining table.
