Claudia Winkleman being announced as the new face of Marks & Spencer was one of our highlights last month, and now, she's unearthed our new jumper of the season from the high-street hero's elevated Jaeger range.

Of course, thanks to the huge success of her Traitors wardrobe, Claudia is something of a knitwear icon these days. So, it makes sense that she's championing the most fabulously snuggly piece that we know we'll be living in all winter.

In new photos, Claudia can be seen wearing the Pure Lambswool Textured Cable-Knit Jumper, which is an investment at £135 but still excellent value for the quality. It feels luxuriously soft and features raglan sleeves for a relaxed shape. The ribbed cuffs, hem and collar add preppy polish, while the cable-knit design maintains the heritage chic style we all loved when she was presenting from the Scottish highlands back in January.

Its go-with-everything ivory colour means it will pair effortlessly with your go-to jeans and wide-leg trousers, but for a different look, make like Claudia and style yours with an on-trend pleated maxi skirt and brogues. 'The fabrics and textures evoke a British countryside aesthetic,' says M&S, 'while oversized silhouettes bring the look up to date.'

Claudia, meanwhile, declared that she had 'just eaten a whole Colin the Caterpillar cake' and apologised if that meant she was talking too fast in the reel. Pulling out the jumper above from a rail of Jaeger clothes, she said, 'It's got a touch of fisherman about it, and skiing. I've never been skiing but one day I will go. I'm joking, I won't.' Then, she shouted out the skirt. 'This is nice, a swooshy skirt. It's got pleats. Good with a welly.'

Catch us wearing our jumper for everything from coffee dates with friends to brisk winter walks in the countryside. No muddy paw prints allowed, mind...
