Why Chelsy Davy's royal wedding outfit today looked eerily familiar
With all the pomp, ceremony, and outrageous dress codes, is there anything that we love better than a royal wedding?
As the guests arrived at the wedding of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, all eyes were on the high-profile guests and what they were wearing for the occasion.
One attendee who is no stranger to the royal circle, was Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy, who arrived in an elegant navy frock that was very similar to the one she wore to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex‘s wedding back in May.
The 32-year-old paired her long-sleeved midi dress, with matching heels and a headpiece she had to hold down in the blustering wind.
Meanwhile, Harry’s other famous ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas, was also in attendance at Eugenie’s star-studded wedding, and also opted for a blue frock.
Both exes have remained close to Harry since their time together, and both were invited as guests to Harry and Meghan’s May wedding.
British actress and model Cressida famously dated Harry for nearly two years, with royal author Katie Nicholl describing the gorgeous blonde dancer as one of Harry’s big loves.
“Harry’s had two big love affairs – Chelsy Davy and Cressida Bonas,” Katie told Yahoo Lifestyle earlier this year.
“He was with Chelsy for seven years on and off and Cressida for two years, but neither wanted the life of a royal girlfriend… it was watching Kate [Middleton] on a royal tour that apparently spooked Cressida.”
Eugenie and her groom Jack Brooksbank, are marrying at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, the same location Harry and Meghan chose in May.
Just like the Duke and Duchess, they will finish the ceremony with a carriage ride around Windsor, followed by two wedding receptions, the first of which will be hosted by the Queen.
