Former opera singer Charlotte Church was spotted barefoot but in great spirits, as she left a boozy afterparty following the Attitude Awards in Camden, where she had presented a TV award. The 38-year-old mum of three had clearly had enough of her heels as she was seen navigating the pavements in her bare feet whilst rocking the same sequinned wrap dress she wore for the awards.

Looking slightly bleary-eyed, Charlotte was joined by a mystery male companion who carried her bright pink faux-fur coat for her, whilst she held the hand of a minder before jumping into the back of a taxi. Earlier in the evening, she was seen flashing a huge smile as she posed for photos on the red carpet at the event, where she rocked towering gold heels and a bamboo handbag.

Charlotte was well-known for enjoying nights out in the past, but in the last few years, she’s swapped late nights partying for a decidedly more laid-back lifestyle in Wales. There, she runs a holistic retreat named The Dreaming in the idyllic countryside of Powys.

She threw her life savings at purchasing a £1.5million mansion, called Rhydoldog House there, where people who are looking to escape their hectic lifestyles can come and stay to reconnect with nature and relax.

The seven-bedroom mansion has three storeys, a helicopter landing and a 200-year-old barn on its 47 acres.

Speaking previously about the retreat, the Sun reports Charlotte saying: "Nature soothes us, it's peaceful and helps us deal with whatever is going on in our lives... I don't think my interest in healing is to do necessarily with the fact that was a famous child or anything like that because, I mean, I had a ball for the majority of the time - I travelled the world and I sang with orchestras.

"I'm on my own journey, I think, on unblocking myself, you know, working through trauma, childhood, all of it - the same as everybody really, but I just feel really lucky to have started that process because so many people haven't even started the process.”

Despite running the business, Charlotte, who had amassed a £25million fortune by the tender age of 11 years old, recently revealed that she’s ‘no longer a millionaire’ as she downsized from a mansion to a more modest semi-detached home. According to the Daily Mail , Charlotte confessed: "I'm not a millionaire anymore.”
