Catherine Zeta-Jones and lookalike teenage daughter pose for Vanity Fair cover
Catherine Zeta-Jones stars on the September 2019 cover of Vanity Fair Spain with her daughter Carys Douglas.
The 49-year-old Welsh actress has clearly passed down her stellar genes to her 16-year-old daughter, who shares her mother’s dark hair and chiselled facial features.
Highlighting the resemblance, the lookalike mother daughter duo wear matching Fendi jackets styled with white shirts. They recently attended the Italian luxury brand’s Couture Fall Winter 2019/2020 Show on 4 July in Rome, Italy.
Further images and video footage shared from the issue’s cover photoshoot show the pair wearing more coordinated outfits.

The shoot comes ahead of Zeta-Jones turning 50 on 25 September this year.
Translated from original Spanish, the interviewer asks her about the “pressure to be perfect” in the run-up to her milestone birthday.
She responds: “Your exterior is an extension of what you have inside. I am very happy with the person I am now. Satisfaction is something very beautiful."
The interview also recounts how Douglas, whose father is actor Michael Douglas, 74, “developed a special ability to detect paparazzi” when she was a child, telling her mother, “Mom, there, in the tree on the left”.

“From the fame of my parents I have learned the importance of being true to oneself and to keep our feet on the ground,” Douglas tells the publication.
This is the second magazine cover the teenager has starred on with her mother. In August last year, when Carys was just 15, the pair featured on the front cover of the Town & Country September 2018 issue.
Giving Douglas and Zeta-Jones a run for their money is supermodel Cindy Crawford and her daughter Kaia Gerber, who have done numerous magazine covers together including Vogue France in April 2016.

The “three generation” magazine cover has also become a thing.
There was Reese Witherspoon covering Vogue with daughter Ava and mother Betty, and Jada Pinkett-Smith, together with her daughter, Willow Smith, and her mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris, starring on the first digital cover of Harper’s Bazaar.
