You’re either one of two Christmas present shoppers: organised or last-minute.

Well, turns out some people really do leave their gift shopping to the very last minute, as Amazon has revealed the late purchases made on Christmas Eve last year.

Once again this year, Amazon is offering an ultra-fast delivery service on 24 December, which means you can order your presents on Christmas Eve before 9.15pm for same-day delivery.

However, this service is exclusively for Amazon Prime members only and is only available in certain UK destination including London, Newcastle, Birmingham, Liverpool and Glasgow.

This means that if you like to live life on the edge, you can in fact do all your Christmas shopping hours before the big day.

And yes, people have done it.

Even cutting it as fine as to wait until 10:31pm to place their order.

A £24 Dove Classic Beauty Collection Women’s Gift Set was a popular purchase on Christmas Eve in 2018.

Another popular Christmas Eve 2018 purchase was a £33 Cross Ballpoint Pen with Premium Gift Box.

Amazon gift cards were also a popular choice.

It wasn’t just presents that were being added to Amazon orders. Board games and groceries were popular additions.

Morrisons All Butter Croissants were one of the most purchased items of food on Amazon Fresh, followed by dinner essentials such as Bisto Favourite Gravy Granules and Paxo Sage and Onion Stuffing.

So, if you want to wait right up until the last minute on Christmas Eve to order your gifts - you can.
