When Abbey Clancy stripped off for a swimwear shoot just two months after the birth of her second child, we begged her to let us know how she snaps back into shape so quickly.
After all, it takes most women an age to regain their pre-pregnancy figure – we all know how tough losing weight is, and when you’re an exhausted new mum it’s 10 times harder.
But the model has FINALLY revealed how she looks so good. Clearly the 29-year-old former “Strictly Come Dancing” star hasn’t let a little thing like giving birth stop her from looking flawless and must have worked incredibly hard to get back in shape since having Liberty Rose on June 1.

So what’s her secret? Clancy claims her (enviable) ability to lose her baby weight in no time is down to her genes – and thanks to leading a busy life as a working mum, with no nannies to pitch in. But constantly eating healthily (she does live with a professional athlete after all) no doubt plays a big part too.
“My mum had four children and each time she had a baby, she was back to normal within weeks. So genetics play a part,” she says in the latest issue of Women’s Health. “I don’t diet, but with a four-year-old, a new baby and no nannies, neither do I sit down.”
Doing it all herself, Clancy has no illusions about parenting. It’s hard, it’s tiring –we don’t have any help,” she says. “We do alternate night feeds. Pete’s amazing. I think it’s such a short period of time you’ve got with babies and it goes so quick.”

But while some may deem Clancy as too slim, she wants to reassure fans she eats well, tucking into “home-cooked fresh food” with her footballer husband Peter Crouch and weighs a healthy nine stone.
“It’s strange that my body makes news,” the mum-of-two says. “I don’t like those stories when it’s put in a negative light. Like I’m starving myself.”
Like all women who’ve given birth, Clancy has had to get used to changes to her body. But refreshingly, she isn’t bothered by her new look.
“Your shape just changes,” she says. “My boobs went. My belly button’s a big saggier. But I’ve got two beautiful babies, so I’m not that concerned.”
