Was this Slaven Bilic’s last game?
The situation surrounding Slaven Bilic’s position at the club has angered fans and given that the international break is coming up, this has to be Bilic’s last game at the club. It was reported that he had the games against Tottenham and Crystal Palace to save his job. Yes, we did beat Tottenham but we then drew to Crystal Palace. And now we have lost 4-1.

Liverpool are one of the best teams in the Premier League but the manner in which we lost was unforgivable. We were far too passive and we see the same problems appearing in every single game with there being little signs of improvement. We are in a relegation battle and Bilic has to go.
Rookie mistakes
Going into the game we all knew what Liverpool’s main strength was – their speed in attack. Yet it appears that the team on the pitch did not. After a slow 20 minutes, we conceded from a counter-attack after we had taken a corner.

It ended up being a 3v1 situation in Liverpool’s favour and that goal summed up our performances this season. Naive, poor defensive organisation, and a lack of commitment. With the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on the pitch, we simply played into their hands and made it far too easy for them to score. Let’s not forget the lack of concentration throughout the game with Oxlade-Chamberlain scoring only 55 seconds after Manuel Lanzini scored.
Manuel Lanzini is a star
It was a very poor performance by the team but Lanzini was the exception. He was the only one that was confident of taking the ball and attacking Liverpool’s defence. It was his creativity and drive that gave us hope with Lanzini scoring his first goal of the season from a composed finish. We lost Dimitri Payet. Could we lose Lanzini in the near future?
