Jürgen Klopp sends parting message to Man City over 115 charges ahead of Liverpool farewell
Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp will be keeping a close eye on what happens with Manchester City's 115 financial charges once he leaves Anfield. The Reds boss will step down after nine years, following Sunday's final day clash with Wolves.
Klopp has enjoyed some titanic tussles with City and Pep Guardiola, who claims the German is the biggest rival of his career. Liverpool did pip City to the Premier League title in 2019/20 and lost out twice on the final day of the season.
While Liverpool bids farewell to Klopp, City is going in search of a fourth successive title. Victory over West Ham at the Etihad will see Guardiola's men edge out Arsenal for the top prize in English football.

Yet the successes have taken place with a cloud hanging over City. The reigning champions were charged with breaching FFP rules in February 2023 but the case has still not yet been heard.
City denies any wrongdoing and Klopp was asked about the case ahead of his final match in charge of Liverpool. He said: "Everybody knows about the 115 charges, but I have no clue what that means. I only know the number.
"No matter what has transpired at Manchester City, Pep Guardiola is the best manager in the world - and that is truly significant. If you put any other manager in that club, they don't win the league four times in a row. That's down to him and his team.
"Does that mean City can do whatever it wants? No. But I don't know what it did — if it did anything — and I'm not here to say they have.
"We will see. Of course, I would like to know (if City is guilty) one day. Everyone wants to know. But I will be somewhere else. The quality of Pep makes the difference so I don't worry about these things. We will see. It's not my problem and I am fine with what we have and what we've achieved."
Liverpool.com says: It is hard for many to separate this excellent City team under Guardiola and the charges that hang over the club. It is a case that should have been dealt with and it has not been good for anyone that a verdict has not yet been reached. City should pip Arsenal to the title on Sunday but may not get the plaudits its performances deserve.
