Internet erupts after Harry Kane humiliates ex-Arsenal keeper with halfway line wonderstrike
It’s safe to say Harry Kane has had quite the career so far.
After bursting on the scene with Spurs, the striker has gone on to win two Premier League golden boot awards, named PFA Young player of the year, featured in the PFA team of the year four years running, captained England to a World Cup semi final AND won the World Cup golden boot, all by the age of 25.
But just when you thought one of the most prolific goalscorers currently in world football couldn’t impress anymore, he pulled another rabbit out of the hat in a preseason friendly against Juventus in Singapore.
With the International Champions Cup game deadlocked at 2-2 in stoppage time, Kane hit a stunning first time strike from just inside the Juve half which looped high in the air before dropping over Wojciech Szczesny.
A stunner of a goal made all the more sweet not just by the fact it won the game, but also humiliated the former Arsenal goalkeeper in the process.
Needless to say, the internet lost its collective mind!

#thfc Well, that's the Goal of the Season award sorted nice and early! Stunning from Kane and I imagine quite a few people will enjoy the fact that Szczesny was in goal for it.

Erik Lamela had put Spurs in front but goals from Gonzalo Higuain and Cristiano Ronaldo turned things around for Juve.
Lucas Moura equalised for Spurs and it looked like it was going to be honours even until Kane took centre stage.
The North Londoners continue their preseason preparations against Premier League rivals Manchester United on Thursday in Shanghai, while Juve take on Serie A rivals Inter in Nanjing on Wednesday.
Presumably the Italian champions will be joined by their goalkeeper who hopefully hasn’t gone into hiding.
