Fulham consider improved Emile Smith Rowe bid after Arsenal reject transfer offer

Arsenal have rejected a bid from Fulham to sign Emile Smith Rowe.

The Cottagers are considering whether to increase their transfer offer as they look to improve their attack for the new campaign. Crystal Palace have also been linked.

Smith Rowe, 23, only made three Premier League starts for Arsenal in the last campaign after a lengthy spell of injury issues. He is understood to be ready to leave if he can secure first-team football away from north London.

The Gunners are thought to be open to offers for the three-times England international as they look to cash in on a number of fringe players who have failed to nail down a spot in Mikel Arteta’s team.

Fulham have already lost Bobby De Cordova-Reid to Leicester after his contract expired and there remains uncertainty over Willian’s future after his deal expired.

Smith Rowe is under contract at Arsenal to 2026.
