The much-delayed Wonder Woman 1984 will land at UK cinemas on 16 December, the Warner Bros studio has confirmed.
The studio has unveiled the entire release schedule for the sequel, which will roll out across the world from 16 December all the way through to the end of January, when it will open in Italy.

Last week, the studio announced that it would be releasing the movie both in theatres in the US – the ones not shut down due to the global pandemic – and on streaming service HBO Max simultaneously, on Christmas Day.
Director Patty Jenkins tweeted: “At some point you have to choose to share any love and joy you have to give, over everything else. We love our movie as we love our fans, so we truly hope that our film brings a little bit of joy and reprieve to all of you this holiday season.”

According to Deadline, the movie will play on HBO Max for a month, before returning exclusively to cinemas in the US, an unprecedented move for a major tentpole movie.
And while the cinema release date is now set for these shores, there may also be some kind of premium streaming option in the UK waiting in the wings.
Cinemas have been battered by the coronavirus pandemic around the world, with some theatres opening in the UK in July, but to vastly decreased numbers.
The second lockdown also forced them to close again, with screens in lower risk areas due to re-open from next week.
Cinemas in areas under tier one and tier two restrictions will be allowed to open, it was confirmed on Monday, though venues in tier three areas will not.
Director Jenkins' sequel to her 2017 DC debut, was originally set for release in December 2019, before being delayed until 5 June, 2020.

The coronavirus outbreak put paid to that, however, with the movie then being tentatively moved to 2 October, before shifting to its current Christmas slot.
The movie finds Gal Gadot reprising her role as Diana Prince, aka Wonder Woman, as she battles the double threat of media mogul Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal) and former friend Barbara Ann Minerva, aka Cheetah, played by Kristen Wiig.
