So, without further ado, here is everything you need to know about the new films that will be available to stream this weekend.
The Woman King (2022) | Sky Cinema and NOW (pick of the week)
Gina Prince-Bythewood's action-packed film The Woman King is a historical drama not to be missed. Set in the West African kingdom of Dahomey in the 1820s it centres on an all-female group of warriors led by Viola Davis' General Nanisca.
As war begins to brew between the Dahomey and Oyo tribes, General Nanisca trains a new group of warriors in the ways of the Agojie and things take a darker turn when Portuguese slave traders make an alliance with the Oyo.
Nimona (2023) | Netflix
Animated film Nimona follows knight Ballister Boldheart (Riz Ahmed) who finds himself accused of a crime he didn't commit in a futuristic world.
Determined to clear his name Ballister seeks out shapeshifter Nimona (Chloë Grace Moretz) who is the only person who can do so, and the pair embark on an unexpected adventure together.
Run Rabbit Run (2023) | Netflix
Fresh off her success in Succession, Sarah Snook returns to the small screen for horror film Run Rabbit Run, in which she portrays a single mother, Sarah, whose daughter Mia (Lily LaTorre) begins to tell her she has memories from a past life.
Mia believes she is Sarah's sister Alice, who went missing at the age of seven. As events unfold, Sarah becomes increasingly frightened of what her daughter is capable of doing.
Emily (2022) | Sky Cinema and NOW
Emma Mackey stars as Emily Brontë in this period drama that charts the Wuthering Heights author's life in a compelling coming-of-age story.
