We Gave The Stars of Ab Fab A Champagne Bong And It Blew Their Minds

Have you ever thought, while delicately sipping a glass of expensive champagne, savouring the subtle flavours as they dance across your palate, and luxuriating in the delicate bubbles as they slip down your throat - “I wish there was a way I could chug this like a frat boy who just won the lottery?”

Well, allow us to introduce the Chambong, a new invention that combines the elegance of a champagne flute with the fast delivery system of a bong that allows you to do just that.

We took a pair of Chambong glasses to the ‘Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie’ junket, and it went down a storm with its stars Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders.

Just watch Lumley’s reaction below when we whipped one out…

“What do you mean? What is it?” the bamboozled star demanded to know. “Patsy would just slip it down her trousers, she doesn’t know it is!”

Saunders was keen to have a go on the glass drinking device, so Lumley loaded her up and Saunders took a hit, despite being warned by her co-star, “This is stupid, we’ve got work to do!”

Saunders, though, declared it: “The best thing I’ve ever seen in my life.”

They eventually decided it looked more like a pipe than a champagne flute and questioned whether polite society was ready for the Chambong.

“You don’t want to arrive [at a party] holding that,” said Lumley, “It just looks tragic.”
