New trailer for 'Cursed Films' series shines spotlight on Hollywood's most infamous movie sets
A new documentary series is set to tell the most infamous true stories of allegedly “cursed” Hollywood movie sets, including The Exorcist and Poltergeist.
Horror streaming platform Shudder has unveiled a trailer for Cursed — a five-part series exploring the truth behind some of the most notorious production stories in cinema history.
The movies depicted in the series are: The Exorcist, The Omen, Poltergeist, The Crow and Twilight Zone: The Movie.

Documentary filmmaker and Film Junk Podcast co-host Jay Cheel is behind the project, which will premiere at the SXSW Festival in March before its Shudder debut in April on both sides of the Atlantic.
The first episode, due to premiere on 2 April, will follow the notorious problems on the set of The Exorcist, including a devastating fire and the apparently coincidental deaths of many people associated with the production.

A double bill of episodes on 9 April will delve into allegations of supernatural events around the making of horror classics Poltergeist and The Omen
Finally, the tragedies on the set of The Crow and Twilight Zone: The Movie will be the subject of the last pair of programmes, available from 16 April.
The Poltergeist and The Omen episodes will have their world premiere at SXSW, with director Cheel in attendance.
Cursed Films features interviews with numerous talking heads, including witnesses to the various incidents and the actors and filmmakers involved in the movies.
Among the roster of big-name interviewees are The Omen director Richard Donner, The Exorcist star Linda Blair and historian Mitch Horowitz.
