Tom Holland looks like a killer in terrifying 'Cherry' image
The first image of Tom Holland as Nico Walker in The Russo Brothers’ upcoming crime thriller Cherry has been released, and it shows just how different the film is going to be to their previous collaboration on Avengers: Endgame.
That’s because, not only does Holland have a very impressive buzzcut, but he is also pointing a gun directly towards the camera, too. You can take a gander at the image from Instagram below.
Cherry sees Holland star as Nico Walker, a US Army veteran who after returning to the United States from Iraq started to suffer from undiagnosed post traumatic stress disorder and depression. This led Walker to become addicted to heroin.

In order to fund his habit, Walker started to rob banks. He actually robbed 10 banks in Cleveland during a four month period. Walker was eventually arrested in April, 2011, receiving an 11-year prison sentence for his crimes.
After being profiled by BuzzFeed, Walker decided to write a book on his efforts entitled Cherry, which tells the story of his time at war and his struggles with addiction. After a fierce bidding war, the movie rights for Cherry were purchased by Joe and Anthony Russo’s studio AGBO for $1 million.

Cherry is their first non-Marvel film since 2006’s You, Me And Dupree, with the pair having found great success with Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and, most recently, Avengers: Endgame, which is the highest grossing movie of all time.
We’re still not exactly sure when Cherry will be released, but with filming now underway in Cleveland, which is also where the Russo Brothers were born and raised, it is expected to hit cinemas in 2020.
