'Endgame' directors the Russo Brothers tease fans ahead of Comic-Con announcement
Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo have teased their followers on social media – in a stunt that fans think may be alluding to an announcement concerning the line up of Marvel Studios’ MCU phase 4.
In typical Russo brothers fashion – who revealed the name of their most recent cinematic event (Endgame, you may have heard of it) in creative fashion online using props and equipment to spell it out, they've now given their fanbase another cryptic message in the form of a tweet.

It's a short, still video containing just the date '7.19.19'. For the confused British users amongst us, that isn't the seventh of whenvember, it's 19 July, which happens to be the opening day of the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con.
There's also audio playing in the background, and what can be heard is audio from two years ago, when the duo revealed the very first footage from Infinity War.
It's all guesswork at present, but given Spider-Man: Far From Home has just marked the end of phase three, it would make sense now for the directors of Endgame, a film enriched by its sense of finality, to now look forward to the future.

And if they do, there's plenty to be excited about, as we anticipate the Black Widow solo movie, as well as sequels to Doctor Strange, Black Panther and of course the third – and somewhat turbulent third entry into the Guardians of the Galaxy series.
There's also expected to be some new characters too, as we hope for the announcement of The Eternals, starring Angelina Jolie, and the original tale of the master of kung-fu himself, Shang-Chi.

There is always the chance, however, that this reveal could be related to the forthcoming home entertainment release of Endgame, scheduled for 2 September. Perhaps we may be treated to a deleted scene, or some unseen footage.
Or maybe there could be a teaser trailer for an upcoming production? We just don't know, but what is certain is that something is coming, and what else is certain is that we're going to carry on speculating until we know exactly what it is.
