Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour becomes the most profitable concert film ever
Statista has revealed that Swift's film became the highest-grossing music concert movie of all time, beating the likes of BTS, the Jonas Brothers, and Madonna.
Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour drew in more than $100 million in advance tickets worldwide, the data was taken by AMC Theatres as of October 4 and has likely continued to grow since then.
The data, compared to date compiled by The Numbers, shows Swift's release has surpassed the previous record holder: Justin Bieber, whose 2011 concert film for Never Say Never had a worldwide box office revenue of $99 million.
Other movies to appear on the list include the Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert film, which was released in 2008. The 2013 One Direction concert film This is Us earned $68 million at the time of its release.

In the UK, the concert film also broke records when it opened at number one at the box office and beat the record for first-week pre-sales which was previously held by K-Pop supergroup BTS's concert film Permission To Dance, which was released in 2022.
Tim Richards of Vue International said in a statement: "Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour opened number one at the UK and Ireland box office yesterday by a considerable distance (as well as on our screens in Germany, Italy and the Netherlands), following record-breaking pre-sales for a concert.
"It absolutely smashed the previous event cinema pre-sales record by more than £1 million of box office.
"We saw an incredible response from Swifties across the UK and Ireland who dressed up, sang along and danced away with fellow fans, with sell-out sessions despite scheduling an unprecedented number of shows so no one missed out."
Swift's 146-date stadium jaunt has captured global attention since it began in March. It is on track to be the most lucrative tour ever, and includes 13 sell-out UK shows scheduled for next summer.
