Sky and NOW subscribers will have an exciting month ahead of them in September as there will be exciting originals and the return of some old favourites.
Tár will be arriving on Sky Cinema in September, the film earned Cate Blanchett and Oscar nomination at this year's ceremony and follows the life of a world-renowned composer who is accused of misconduct.
Other big name blockbusters arriving over the course of September include Scream VI and Knock at the Cabin, horror films premiering just in time for the spooky season.

New TV coming to Sky and NOW in September 2023
Brassic season 5 | 28 September
Returning for an eight-episode fifth season, Brassic will see Vinnie (Joseph Gilgun) and the gang try and navigate life while under threat of the MacDonagh brothers.
The Sky original was recently crowned Best Comedy Drama at the Royal Television Awards, and the new season will likely be a welcome sight for many Sky and NOW users.
The Lovers | 7 September
The Lovers stars Johnny Flynn and Roisin Gallagher as presenter Seamus and supermarket worker Janet, the two make an unlikely couple but are drawn to each other after they inadvertently save each other's lives. The only problem is that Johnny is in a relationship.
A fun, sweet and surprisingly emotional rom-com, the series follows two people who seem so wrong for each other but actually may be the perfect fit.
Domina season 2 | 13 September
The struggle for control of the Roman Empire is charted in Sky's drama Domina, which returns for a second season and follows Livia Drusilla (Kasia Smutniak) as she tries to remain at the top.
With new and old rivals vying for control themselves, Livia desperately tries to ensure that one of her sons is able to take over the throne.
Sex: A Bonkers History | 18 September
The series, presented by Amanda Holden and Dan Jones, explores how sexual behaviours through the ages have shaped civilisations in ways we are only now beginning to discover. The series will use archive footage and drama reconstruction, with Holden and Jones taking the leading roles to shed light on history’s best unknown sex stories.
New movies coming to Sky and NOW in September 2023
Tár | 1 September
Cate Blanchett takes on the role of Lydia Tár in Todd Field's latest, the drama charts the composer as she is accused of misconduct after becoming the first female chief conductor of the Berlin Philharmonic.
The film earned Blanchett an Academy Award nomination, though she lost the prize to Michelle Yeoh who won for Everything, Everywhere All At Once.
Scream VI | 8 September
The latest movie in the Scream franchise sees four of Ghostface's survivors try to piece their lives back together in New York City, only to be terrorised again by the villain.
It is noteworthy that the film is the first in the franchise not to star Neve Campbell, who chose not to reprise her role as Sidney Prescott following a pay dispute.
Knock at the Cabin | 15 September
Horror film fans will also have the chance to watch Knock at the Cabin, M. Night Shyamalan newest film which follows a young girl and her parents as they desperately try to survive when they are taken hostage.
Starring Dave Bautista, Jonathan Groff and regular Shyamalan collaborator Rupert Grint, the movie will no doubt delight and terrify viewers.
