Rob Lowe claims more people saw his Netflix Christmas elephant film than 'The Irishman'
Rob Lowe reckons that more people saw his Netflix film Holiday In The Wild than saw Martin Scorsese's The Irishman.
The former 'brat pack' star made the claim while speaking at the Television Critics Association press tour in California, per The Wrap.

Asked if he preferred working for streaming platforms over network TV, he said: “I just did a movie for Netflix that was the number one movie that they had.
“A little stupid Christmas elephant movie and it beat — take that Martin Scorsese.”
The romcom was released on Netflix in November, and found Lowe starring as a charter pilot in Africa who bonds with a soon-to-be divorced woman – played by Sex and the City's Kristin Davis – over an inujured baby elephant in Zambia.
It was unloved by critics, though The Guardian called it 'cheesy, stupid but... quite charming'.
But where Lowe is getting his figures from remains a mystery.

Scorsese's The Irishman was a smash for the streaming studio, racking up 13.2 million views in its first five days on release, according to Nielsen, and 26 million in its first week, according to Netflix itself.
The streamer also released details of its most-streamed titles of 2019 on Monday this week, and strangely Holiday In The Wild didn’t feature in the top 10.
Here’s the top 10 in full, according to Netflix (which does not currently allow independently verified figures), with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston comedy landing in the top spot.
