The massive catalogue of film and TV entertainment available on the Disney+ UK launch day has now been unveiled, revealing more than 500 movies, as well as hours and hours of TV — including The Simpsons.
Disney has revealed that the majority of its big blockbuster franchise material from Marvel Comics and Star Wars will make it to the streamer, as well as its classic movies from the past and series like Pirates of the Caribbean.

One of the Mouse House’s most valuable assets is Pixar and its enviable roster of some of the most iconic animated movies of the last few decades. With this week’s Onward representing the 22nd feature from the company’s Braintrust, there’s a hefty supply of content to get through.
But is everything set to be there on day one for UK Disney+ subscribers? The service is currently available to British users for just £49.99 per year if they pre-order prior to launch day.
Which Pixar movies are on Disney+ in the UK?
More or less everything that Pixar has ever made will be on Disney+ in the UK from day one. This includes all four of the Toy Story films — including last summer’s Toy Story 4 — classics like Up and Wall-E and all of its recent movies including Coco, Finding Dory and Incredibles 2. Here’s the full list:
Toy Story (1995)
A Bug’s Life (1998)
Toy Story 2 (1999)
Monsters Inc. (2001)
Finding Nemo (2003)
The Incredibles (2004)
Cars (2006)
Ratatouille (2007)
WALL-E (2008)
Up (2009)
Toy Story 3 (2010)
Cars 2 (2011)
Brave (2012)
Monsters University (2013)
Inside Out (2015)
The Good Dinosaur (2015)
Finding Dory (2016)
Cars 3 (2017)
Coco (2017)
Incredibles 2 (2018)
Toy Story 4 (2019)
There’s also a huge catalogue of the short films Pixar traditionally plays before its feature-length adventures — as well as its quick-hit SparkShorts series and several feature-centric stories like Inside Out spin-off Riley’s First Date. The theatrical shorts include the Oscar-winning Piper, which accompanied Finding Dory, and the brilliant Day & Night, which played before Toy Story 3.
Pixar has produced a number of Disney+ originals for the service too including new series Forky Asks a Question, featuring Tony Hale’s Toy Story 4 character, Lamp Life a new Bo Peep short, Pixar In Real Life a new live action series that recreates classic Pixar scenes.
The Pixar Story, a full-length documentary about the history of the studio produced in 2007, is also on Disney+ and it’s well worth a watch.
It’s fair to say that, if you’re a Pixar lover, you should be very happy.
Which Pixar movies are missing from Disney+ in the UK?
Obviously, Pixar’s latest movie — Onward — has not yet made it to Disney+, given it only arrived in cinemas today. Given how willing Disney has been to add its Pixar titles to Disney+, it’d be a safe bet to assume that Onward will arrive on the platform sooner rather than later, once it leaves cinemas.

There’s one major omission in terms of the Pixar shorts, though, with Domee Shi’s Oscar-winning Bao seemingly left off the list of UK Disney+ content.
The short, from Pixar’s first female short film director, was screened before Incredibles 2 and depicts a woman who treats a steamed bun as if it’s her son — with farcical, but surprisingly emotional, consequences. Bao is available on the Disney+ platform elsewhere in the world, so its absence in Britain is something of a surprise.
Disney+ is set to debut in the UK on 24 March.
