New on Sky Cinema and NOW in March 2023: Best movies and TV from Elvis to Succession
March is shaping up to be another stellar month for Sky Cinema, headlined by the arrival of Baz Luhrmann’s rhinestone encrusted musical biopic Elvis. Austin Butler puts in a BAFTA-winning turn as Elvis Presley alongside a transformative Tom Hanks, who plays EP’s manipulative manager Col. Tom Parker in this whirlwind look at the life and musical times of the king of rock’n’roll.
Elsewhere, Daisy Edgar Jones is a murder suspect in the American Deep South in slow-burn thriller Where The Crawdads Sing, based on Delia Owens’ bestselling novel. And, on the Originals front, Liam Neeson puts on his noir hat — and an actual hat — in Neil Jordan’s Marlowe, inspired by Raymond Chandler’s legendary private eye.
Leading the TV line-up is the eagerly awaited return of Succession, which follows the trials, tribulations, and wince-inducing antics of the megarich Roy family as the sale of their media conglomerate inches ever closer.
